Due to their relaiability and operating safety, as well as their quick braking time(connection & disconnection time =5-80 milliseconds) they are suitable for a great vairty of applications, such as :

. Braking of rotating masses to reduce any lost- time;
.Braking of machine parts, according to safely rules.
